The simple reason you're floundering at the first business obstacle

Choose a direction and take a step. If it's the wrong lane turn around and go back.

Can't seem to nail your niche? Your fear of making a mistake might be at play. Let's investigate...

Geez. You're stumbling at the first obstacle. Falling. Overwhelmed, you stay on the ground in suspended action, paralysed. This is annoying.

UGH why's this so hard? I don’t want to decide on a niche. There's so many things I wanna do. So many things I COULD DO. I don't want to make the wrong choice. Getting it wrong…regretting it.

Here. Have a gentle smackdown. Getup. Comeback. I’m going to take you by the hand and by the end of this article you’ll be ready to walk over this hurdle.

I get it, I really do. Deciding on something kills off all other options and that sucks. Who wants to do that? What if you make a bad choice? In the back of your mind you worry of getting into a trap, going down the wrong lane.

LET'S TACKLE THIS FEAR

The solution to this fear is simple. If you've gone down the wrong lane you turn around and go back. Cancel, delete. Or you take the next available exit that may lead you into exciting unknown lads. No-one’s going to stop you, it really is that straightforward.

Look at your niche as a launch pad from where you’ll jump bigger things and more dialled in ideas and offerings.

The key however, is to make that initial decision to enter the arena, because the real learning is found here.

WHAT IF

What if you make the wrong decision? What's going to happen? Tough luck! That’s what’s going to happen. Stuff happens. Own it!

Cancel

Delete

Go back

Go down the next track

It really is that simple

And this doesn’t have to take months or weeks

Get in action

Execute (and not to forget have fun along the way!)

CLOSE YOUR EYES

What if you could decide right now on the niche you want to choose and use it as your launch pad? Which one would you choose?

Got it? And GO!

This is showing up fully in your business. And what is the alternative? Staying stuck, not going anywhere.

Nailing your niche is like deciding A or B. Where do I want to go? Left or right?

And then just do it: put your left foot out and go in that direction. Or put your right foot out and go in that direction.

Which direction will you choose? Ask your gut. Ask your ideal client. Pick one.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET IT WRONG? NOTHING. YOU GO BACK.

What happens if you don’t decide? This isn’t ideal at all, you'll stay stuck: you won’t be able to lay a profitable foundation for your business if you can't decide on a niche and you're stumbling at the first hurdle and are in danger of getting left behind.

Making a decision can as easy as saying 'yes' or 'no'

So tell me, are you letting hesitation get in the way of your success?
